safety irony of life

The Irony of Life

It is not everybody in the hospital that is sick

It is not everybody in the police station that is a criminal

It is not everybody in the school compound that is a student

It is not everybody in the school compound that is educated

It is not everybody in the church that is saved

It is not everybody roaming about the street that has no magnitude and direction

The fact that you find me among multitude does not mean am doing the same thing with them

So also is the Christian in the world. We are in the world, and not of the world.

In the northern part of Nigeria, the Hausas and the Fulani knew how to communicate with their animals, both the sheep, goats and cows.

What amazed me most is that how does the hausas knew animals languages?

The funniest part of it is that they don’t have to shout on their animals before they can obey their voice.

What surprised me most is that,

Though the animals can hear human voice, they didn’t forget their own language,

And apart from that, they can’t speak human language, and they can’t communicate to their offspring in human language, and they can’t communicate back to the hausas in human language.

We are bending to animal’s side because of what we need from them, but they find it difficult to bend to our side because they knew that they can survive without us.

In like manner is Christian supposed to be in the world.

Is the world that supposed to be bending to our side because we are the salt, we are also the Light,

That means that they need us more than how we need them.

They are the one that needs to learn our language.

And even if we try to hear their language, we should not forget the heavenly language, and we should avoid teaching our children what is of the world.
